This iplantop LED light is now my go-to brand.I had been using TWO other brand LED lights for seedlings and early growth plants. It's not bad for the price compared to some other LED considering it uses triple chip LEDs and has Daisy chain and separate controls for both spectrums. It definitely works to grow plants but in my opinion there needs to be a standard for comparing LED watts with MH/HPS watts. Because this LED light claims it's equivalent to a 1000 watt MH/HPS setup but its only 180 watts. I have another LED light from a different company that says it's equivalent to 1000 watts of MH/HPS and it's 265 watts. I can say with 100% certainty that the 265 watt LED is closer to 600 watts of MH/HPS. So in MY PERSONAL EXPERIENCE this light is closer to a 400 watt MH/HPS NOT 1000 watts as claimed. But since there's no real standard I guess different LED lights can claim whatever they want. Nonetheless this light will grow plants just fine and it is a lot cooler than my MH/HPS, requires less setup AND it is full spectrum and cost about the same as a decent 400 watt MH/HPS. I think if the makers can create a LED with larger surface area it might have better coverage and that's important growing indoors.
