I am a Michelin guy and I never skimp on tires but the budget is tight right now and I didn’t want to spend too much on this old beater. The old tires were hard as a rock, noisy, and wobbled badly going down the road. These babies are smooth as glass. The ride is good considering the tire has a 2400 pound load rating. I purchased a heavier load rating keeping in mind that the vehicle may on a rare occasion tow a utility trailer. That actually helps our TrailBlazer's ride, considering that particular vehicle has an overly soft ride to begin with. As for traction and handling in the rain, it does very well. As for aesthetics, it's a tire, exactly what it looks like.
