They are the perfect color for spring/summer and as lightweight and easy to wear in the purple pair I bought some months back. I immediately put on the new pair out of the package. No weird smell, and the comfort was consistent. I wore them around my house all day, going in and out as needed, and had no issues whatsoever. These are fantastic shoes and I will continue to grab up more colors. My teen daughter now also wants a pair. They'll be perfect for wearing while we do a lot of traveling this year....easy on/off, no laces to worry about, etc. I really do recommend!___________________________________________________________________________________________________________I'm usually very hard to please when it comes to shoes. I have high arches, very wide feet, and diabetic neuropathy in my feet. Finding a pair of shoes that addresses all of these issues is no small feat (pun intended). Pain and more pain. I've spent hundreds of dollars on shoes specially designed for diabetic's foot care needs and they've collected more dust than actual wear. Special inserts only addressed comfort and even then, the benefits were short lived and still only addressed some issues, not all. I decided to try these out of desperation more than anything else, just wanting something I could wear that wouldn't cause me even more pain while I made a trek to the store or to run a few errands. The first day I wore them I had them on for about 8 hours as I shopped and did my running around. They are truly the most comfortable pair of shoes I've worn in years. There's plenty of room in the toe area, there is a slight amount of stretch on the sides which accommodates my wider feet (I also had thick socks on...bonus! Warm feet), and are very lightweight. I highly recommend these and will be buying more in different colors. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Beware of inconsistency in sizing *by C***C on Reviewed in the United States on November 20, 2018* Finding shoes in a size 12 is a challenge, to say the least. You cannot walk into any old shoe store and find that size. So, I am very thankful for Amazon and their Prime and Free Returns on so many of their shoes in my size. I purchased these in the dark gray color. They fit great, felt great and I was impressed. So, I then ordered the very same shoes in red. When they arrived I soon discovered that although the left shoe fit just like my dark gray ones, the right shoe was bigger and the sole actually measured half an inch longer than the left shoe. So, I asked for a replacement and crossed my fingers that the replacements would be better. I lucked out and both of the replacement red shoes fit the same as my original dark grey ones. So then I decided to try my luck again and ordered the same shoes in the color called Rosy. When they arrived both of them were the same size, but they were a lot bigger than the ones that fit so well. They were like that red right shoe that was half an inch longer. I tried putting in different pads and wearing socks, but then I decided that I shouldn't have to do that in order to make the shoes work for me. The other two colors fit so well with a lot of stretch in the elastic--sort of like wearing a medium weight stretchy sock with a nice sole on it. But the Rosy ones, besides being longer, also felt like the stretch had all gone out of the fabric and they didn't even touch my foot. So, back they went. In the midst of all these purchases and returns I also ordered some light gray ones which were on the same listing but were a different style. They ended up as returns because they had absolutely no stretch whatsoever to them and it was next to impossible to wrestle them onto my feet. Why in the world different styles are offered in the same listing is beyond me.
