It seals better than any bottle I have ever had. I bought another brand bottle at the same time & it is leaking already. It says not to use a carbonated beverage but I have a soda stream that I make carbonated water with and add Stur flavoring. This bottle stands up to the pressure that is generated. It has a wide opening that makes it easy to clean. The spout screws down tight but is easy to take on & off. The lid to the spout is hinged so you can't drop or lose it.
