It fits great, I put some Teflon tape on the male copper connector I am attaching this to and so far it works flawlessly. The price of the item is a bit high - similar plastic connectors at Home Depot cost maybe $5 bucks, but then again maybe this is a non-standard size connector nowadays so can't find it anywhere in brick and mortar locations.
