It seemed to be boxed up fairly well, but it still arrived with damage. Not a big deal, just something that shouldn't happen. I works fine, but be advised that it is very thin gauge metal, and feels a little flimsy (especially the doors). It will work fine for storing odds and ends, but don't expect it to be a heavy duty work station or something. A minor complaint I have is that the hard rubber-like mat that goes on top comes over-sized, and requires trimming to fit. It arrived poorly packaged and consequently damaged. I had to pry the door open (I thought it was locked at first).Long story short..I wish I had purchased something locally because I don't know how to return it. The substandard packaging was unusable.
