They are good for smaller or medium sized plants. Other reviews were right for one of the globes, the stem is pretty narrow so it is very difficult to fill if at all. With a little critical thinking, I was able to figure out how to fill it. **TIP: Use an oral medication syringe to fill that one. ** I was able to fill it no problem then. All 6 globes are usable. Will update later to see how well they work as they just arrived today.

These definitely give me a window of time when I don't need to have someone check on my plants when I'm traveling. And bonus -- these, unlike plant sitters -- don't overwater. Ever. I actually returned them. Very pretty and good quality. Smaller than expected even though it gave description of size. Needed for outdoor plants while I’m away. Better for smaller indoor plants
