No cheap molding seams and chrome quality looks nice (not like a cheapie paint-on). ### ⭐⭐ 2.0 out of 5 stars Cheap, low quality *by S***Y on Reviewed in the United States on August 15, 2014* I got this with the hope of preventing the cats from unrolling and shredding the TP.Unfortunately, although it might have done the job for the cats, it won't do it for me... the metal cover is very thin and lightweight with some rough spots on the edges, and there are visible translucent/gray colored plastic parts (neither chrome nor white in color) where the cover swivels (you can see them if you look closely at the product photos - look next to the "ball" for a plastic washer, and for a bushing on the other side of the swiveling part of the lid).So although this may look good from a distance, when you actually see it up close and use it, it looks and feels kind of cheap - and given that one of the plastic bushings was already loose in the packaging, I don't think it would hold up for long.BTW I actually ordered two styles of this product from the same manufacturer and both had basically the same issues I outlined above, so I reviewed both similarly.P.S. As far as the cats, I think I've found a simpler and cheaper solution - when I put a new roll of TP on the holder, I make sure to do two things: first, I squash the roll so that it won't rotate as easily; and second, I hang it so that the paper comes off facing the wall. The bushing that keeps the flap in place constantly slides out of position. It is a nuisance to always have to put back in place.You have to put the flap up to easily roll the paper. I sometimes forget to put the flap back down and my puppy has a field day. If the roll is big he grabs the end of the paper and runs out the paper on the way to the living room. If the roll is smaller he simply slides the whole roll off the spindle and shreds it at his leisure.Since writing this review, I now like this product even worse. The entire arm assembly falls out of the holder mount. It can be slid back in place but it keeps falling off. There does not appear to be a way of fixing it.
