i've only been using this for a few days so i can't say anything about the long term reliability but it seems sturdy and well made! the plastic dispenser that comes with my dish soap kept breaking right away, so i wanted to find a sturdier replacement to refill, and honestly, now that i've bought this i'm glad the plastic kind kept breaking! i wouldn't have thought to make this upgrade otherwise, but now every time i go to wash dishes i get a little rush of happiness because my sink/counter/window space is ~pretty~. it does the job well and it looks nice, so i'm very happy with the purchase.

These soap jars are fantastic! I just purchased a pair of the 16 oz. jars and replaced the random plastic soap dispensers by my sink that I've been using this last year or so, wow is it a world of difference!
