Actually really NEEDED this to work, but the plug that goes into the back of the Nest hub is just a little too large. I tried to push it in a little too firmly and started to hear some cracking noises. When I compared the one that came with the Nest Hub, I could see that the diameter was just a hair smaller. Maybe I could find a different adapter or simply solder on a new end that fits.
