Got this for my daughter (she weighs 50 lbs) and it was the right weight. It really does seem to help her sleep better and she loves it.

My 6 year old daughter likes the blanket except for the fact that it’s not very wide. She loves the feel and it helps her relax at night so she can get a restful night sleep. So far it’s been great and the quality is very good.

Best investment I made for my child. It is helping them sleep the entire night. The color of the blanket is beautiful and it is super soft.

*** Update: My second daughter loved her sister's weighted blanket so much we bought another one. The kids sleep soundly with these. Very soft and comfortable. Washing isn't difficult, but takes some thought and effort to do it correctly to get everything back in place. My second daughter does not have sleep issues but loves this for the warmth.We gave this to our 6 year old daughter who has anxiety issues and wakes up at least 1-2 times a night. When she opened this on her birthday she loved the bright pink color and the soft minky feel. Once she covered up with the blanket she immediately relaxed (even after a long night of presents and cake) and nearly fell asleep in her chair. She slept through the night that night and the following couple nights. Now about a week later, she still sleeps better with this weighted blanket than without it but she will wake up if it slides off in the night from turning.The minky is really soft and the 5 pound weight seems just right for her (about 40 pounds). It is heavy for her to carry down the hall but adults will have no problem moving it. I haven't washed it yet and am a bit nervous about that since the instructions are very explicit but overall we are really happy with her "heavy blanket." This product was recommended to us from a friend who is an occupational therapist. So glad we splurged on this blanket!

Does a great job keeping cool and helped complete a full nights sleep. Worth it. Wish it was a little longer.

For several months my daughter has been having issues with sleeping at night. We have tried several different ways to get her to sleep but nothing would work. A friend of mine told me to look into a weighted blanket to see if that would help her sleep better, I was skeptical but thought I would give it a try. I looked at several different types and found Hazli. I figured let’s give it a try and see what happens. My daughter loves her weighted blanket!!!! She falls asleep within minutes of going to bed with it!!! She is autistic and does have nocturnal seizures so sleeping through the night doesn’t always happen but she isn’t staying awake the ENTIRE night anymore! She is on a pulse oximeter all night because of the seizures so we are able to see as soon as she falls asleep that she immediately relaxes because her heart rate goes down. This has been a game changer!!!

This blanket is very soft and warm, but not what I expected based on the description and the price. The cover on ours cannot be removed; there is no zipper. The blanket needs to be shaken constantly to realign the weighted blanket inside of the cover since I can't open it to readjust it. I haven't been able to wash it which I'm not happy about. I gave it 3 stars because my daughter loves it regardless of it's flaws, but if it were for me it would probably get 1 or 2 stars (especially because of the price). We have a similar blanket that was $20 and much less of a hassle.

It’s soft.. 2 stars for that. But it’s so short, it isn’t really a full coverage blanket. My daughter hates it, tried giving it to my son because he has ASD too, he hated it, and me and my husband tried it, but it was sooooo short. It just sits folded in a corner. Waste of almost $200. It’s too bad because we had such high hopes. :( We though it could help calm meltdowns and also, my daughter has night terrors but she will not let it near her.

The inside shifts around which is a pain to redistribute

Vraiment extraordinaire pour favoriser l`endormissement et calmer. Cependant pas l`idéal pour une personne qui change souvent de positions dans son sommeil car la pesanteur de la couverture rend la mobilité plus difficile en plus si on doit tourner notre oreiller de corps lors du changement de position
