The features and accessories makes this camera a bargain. Want a dash cam? There's a feature for that. Want an underwater camera? There's an accessory for that. Want to connect this to any standard camera mount or tripod? You got it. I have only used this around the house, so I can't guarantee all of the features; but everything I tried works like a dream and the controls are very intuitive. If you’re looking for a compact good quality and affordable camera, this is the go to option.The waterproof case is tough and reliable, I pushed the limits a little bit and it held really good, it has 2 batteries which is a plus and basic mounts and adapters to be used with a variety of accessories and mounts. One thing to note; the camera says it is a waterproof camera, however, the camera itself isn’t, someone already asked me that question and I thought it would be worth to mention, WITHOUT THE WATERPROOF CASE, THE CAMERA IS NOT WATERPROOF. I use it strictly for autocross and car racing. I use the suction cup mount on my front window or mounted on the side of my car. In the waterproof case.The pros:Works great for capturing audio and visual. There are really no delays or skipping in the recording.The play back even on larger tv screens is clear.I use outdoors during the daytime so the pictures are always very clear.Even though the suction cup mount is smaller than my go pro it definately golfs it's own. It has never fallen off even on the exterior of my car racing in the rain.Battery life is well worth it plus I received 2 batteries. I race all day long and often forget to turn off after my runs and and I have only had 1 dead battery. I have yet to even open the second one.The consThese are not really huge cons just things that would be nicer to have.The beeper to indicate recording is not loud enough.The camera has some sort of built in recording and time off delay which sometimes requires me to restart it if I have waited too long to record.The mounting hardware has required some teflon tape in the threads to help lock into position so it doesnt jar loose during my runs and make the video shakey or not pointed in the right direction.I cannot attest to the software and phone part as I have not played enough with it and am not hugely techno savvy. I do not feel it is as easy as point and go with the app. But this may be user issues.Overall for the money this is a great alternative to the more expensive name brands.
