The best pooper scooper you’ll ever use!
Over the course of my youth, my family had many feline friends under our roof. With multiple cats, you need multiple cat boxes. And you need to clean those boxes quite often if you don’t want issues. My mother recently decided to foster some kittens that showed up on her doorstep, which meant she had to get new supplies. But after all the fun shopping was completed (the toys and scratching posts and such) my mom said “Hey, I need a new poop scooper.” And I replied “Hold on, mom - Amazon has everything.”And I was right. Two days later, the ultimate pooper scooper arrived in a smiling box. We’ve never been so eager to clean a cat-box! This scoop is bigger, sturdier, and more durable than any other scoop on the market! You can basically clean the box in two scoops. Plus the handle grip feels so comfortable in my hand. I don’t think I could ever purchase a different one for future purchases. But this scoop is so durable, I’m pretty sure it’s going to be passed down as an heirloom. Seriously get one, it’s worth it for being an essential tool in a cat-lovers life.

Pellet scoop? Maybe not.
5 stars because it's very sturdy and heavier than standard plastic scoops. It is also larger than the standard clay litter scoops. The holes/slats are larger too. This would be great for people that use clumping litter!I ordered this when I switched to wood pellets for cat litter since it was recommended for such uses. In hindsight, I don't think I really needed to switch to a bigger scoop, as the sawdust goes through the smaller scoop just as well and doesn't lose as many smaller pellets to trash. The smaller scoop requires more scoops to finish the job but it sifts faster so I think overall they end up taking the same amount of time to finish. Also it's easier to scoop out poop with the smaller scoop.

Durable, large scoop, easy to rinse clean
I actually got this to use for a quick scooping solution for my small dog’s poo as a replacement for the large, bulky elaborate scooper/rake I had always been using—which was a hassle to take out to use and even worse to keep clean. What I like about this shovel is I can just grab it quickly on the spot to immediately take care of a mess, especially when my dog is lazy and uses my deck to do his business instead of the yard. The scoop is a durable, heavy duty, not flimsy, poly plastic material that feels like a solid metal. The smooth finish makes it really easy to rinse off as it’s used. The ample depth and width of the tool makes it perfect to use for cleaning up dog messes on any surface, and it takes up no storage space at all, so I’m able to keep it within easy reach on my outside deck. I know I’m using this scooper in an unconventional way, but it’s become a great go-to tool for a quick and easy tidying up, to keep my outside living space clean and poo free!

Thick plastic
This scoop has a little more weight and is made of thicker plastic than my older scoop. We have 4 cats and 3 litter boxes and this scoop gets the job done. The great thing about this scoop is it doesn't bend easily, especially when there's a huge clump of litter. The bonus with this scoop nothing really sticks to this scoop. Easy to clean, just rinse with water and anything that does stick to this just comes off like nothing. We just use a hose outside and it's clean. The scoop and the handle are heavy duty which is perfect for this cat house.

A great and durable scoop!
Finally a scoop that holds up. This large solid plastic litter scoop is up to the task. You won't have to worry about this one snapping in two first time you hit a particularly heavy scoop. I have a Martha Stewart Home litter Scoop that is the best I had ever owned. This one is it's equal. It is one piece construction. Some "metal" scoops have plastic handle melted or glued on to the scoop. They snap.as easily as the cheap plastic ones. This is a quality scoop. But it might not be ideal for clay (non clumping) litter as the holes are fairly large.

Nice, but holes are too big
This is an extremely sturdy and durable plastic litter scoop. There is no flex whatsoever in this scoop. I can't see it ever breaking unless you were to step on it. It's also very easy to clean, as the litter does not tend to stick to it too much. That said, the main problem is the holes are way too big, which allows too many of the smaller pieces to easily fall through. Another issue is that the scoop is fairly heavy, maybe a bit too heavy, as using it tended to quickly become very uncomfortable for my wrist. I also found it a bit difficult to get into corners with this scoop due to the angle of the scoop mouth.

Didn't work for pine litter but sturdy and large.
I got this as a better scoop for my pine pellet litter as seemed to have bigger holes and reviews said it would work for that. However, the pine pellets, I use Feline Pine, do not fall through the slots. The scoop is large and sturdy and will probably work for other litters well. I actually end up using this scoop to scoop the fresh litter into the boxes because the scoop is so large. Again if I can do this it means the pellets won't fall through the holes. It is a super sturdy plastic and it's lightweight and large so overall it's a good scoop just not for pine pellet litter.

Nice litter scoop. Doesn't work with pine litter, though.
Bought this for pine litter pellets, not clay litter, because the slots were some of the biggest I could find. Unfortunately, they are just a hair too small for the pellets to fall through. I could try to widen the slots somehow but it does work for it's intended purpose just fine. Not flimsy like most plastic scoop, very rigid. The shiny gloss finish holds up well with use.Never tested with clay litter.
