Great ride! Easy assembly!
This is a great tadpole style trike for the price. I enjoy how it rides, and the assembly was easy. I do advise that if you assemble it yourself that you still have it tuned up by a qualified bicycle mechanic. Once you have the derailleurs properly set and the wheels trued the ride is even better. I can't wait to do my first road trip with this trike to various camping sites so that I can start racking up the miles on it!

I was happy with the care taken to secure the trike so ...
This is my first trike. When the package arrived I was concerned that such an item might arrive damaged. The package arrifved on time, undamaged, and when I unpacked, I was happy with the care taken to secure the trike so there was no damage. Assembly is not very hard, although the manual is not really the best. In it's current configuration the Cargo carrier does need to be slighly expanded and bent to fit over the rear fender and dropped into place with rubbing. I redrilled mine so I could lower it completely flat. During the process I contacted Rob at RBR, who was very helpful and helped me identify the issue and continued to work with me on a fix. We were able to supply a video to the manufactuer so that changes could be made in the future. Regardless the Trike is good quality and in my opinion the best one I could find for the money even with the slight modifications. Rob at RBR was so helpful I have even purchased a Sun canopy for it and cannot wait till next week to start on that assembly. If you are looking for a Trike and a company that will stand behind it's product and customer satisifaction I recommend RBR. I will contact them for any future needs I have.

Beautiful trike that's well made for the price
I bought this trike about 6 months ago and waited to review it until it had some miles put on it. I bought it knowing it had some issues and there were a few other things that I did not know when I bought it. To get this out the way, this is a 5 star review. The trike frame itself is beautifully made. I am writing this hoping this will help people enjoy their trike more. I'll start with the two things I knew were issues. The first is the steering. To put it simply, it's squirrely the faster you go. Solution is an adjustable hydraulic damper. It's that small black cylinder in the first pic (full size in pic 7). They are $40 on amazon. The mounting bracket for it I made custom but you can buy them. The difference is night and day. Second is the shifting. The barend shifters that come with it are meh. Get some nice Shimano Dura-Ace shifters when you get tired of the rear derailleur making noise. If you're half deaf, then this is moot. Third is the front fenders. They don't stay still and are easily bumped out of alignment so they rub the tires. Solution is pic 2 the parts and pic 3 shows them installed. You can't tighten the factory mounts with out screwing up the bearing preload on the front steering. Add an extra mount bracket on the handle bars that connects to the other end of the fender mount brackets. These are a pair of bike accessory mounts and 1.5" drawer corner braces from home depo. The pair will set you back about $7. Forth is the rear cargo rack. It is a 5 pound heavy steel brick. Instead of mounting it to the rear fork, it's mounted to the frame behind the seat. If you want a cargo rack, get an aftermarket light aluminum one. This Trike is very low to the ground so it handles like a dream. The downside is the top of your head isn't 3 feet off the ground. It would be nice if they offered a flag mount like the one in pic 4. Quick release for standard 1/4" flag pole. So that all the cons and if your still reading, I'm impressed. So the pros are basically everything else. The seat is super comfy. It's like riding a lazyboy recliner, and yes the seat reclines. It comes with the head rest. The suspension is good. It's easy to assemble. An hour tops. Most of the major sections are already done for you. The powder coat finish is beautiful and quite durable. It's a lot of fun to ride. If you want to go for speed, There is several inches of room in the rear fork to swap out the 26" rim for a 700c.

Feature Rich Recumbent Trike
I just recently received and assembled this trike in Diamond Silver color. Since this color choice was not currently available from the Amazon listing I went directly through RBR. The full assembly only took three hours and was very easy and straight forward. Before installing the chain I set the trike on a stand and set the travel distance limits on both the front and rear derailleurs. After installing the chain I tested shifting through all gears while on the stand. This turned out to be helpful as once the chain was installed no further adjustments were required and it shifted perfectly though each gear on the first ride. I will be installing one piece foam grips instead of the included tape wrap. Although the instructions call for using a tape measure to align the front wheels my package came with an adjustable two piece telescopic and locking tube device to perform this with and it is both easier and more accurate than using a tape measure. I'm just now beginning to accessorize the trike and I have found what I believe are the perfect mirrors for it right here on Amazon.I highly recommend you get a pair of these mirrors and mount them directly under the brake lever mounts. They are easy to mount with the no-scratch rubber belt mounting system and they stay put. Simply install adjust and tighten the pivot adjustment screws once you have them set to your liking. They are small enough to clear everything and very well made.https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0722T6RNM/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1The rear of the seat has a bottle cage mount on each side so I used a pair of these cages.https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00R6GRWGQ/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1There is also a place on the vertical pole on the crank boom to mount a bottle cage but I'll be using this area to mount a custom fabricated front light mount. All things considered, this is a lot of trike for a bargain price. I did a lot of research before buying and it would cost at least double to get even close to all the features this trike comes standard with. This trike is the best deal on a recumbent tadpole trike out there. Most trikes at much higher prices do not have the molded fiberglass bucket seat or rear suspension and most others offer front fenders as an option at a higher cost. If you are looking for a feature rich trike at an affordable price look no further. The seller, RBR is always willing to help with any questions or problems you may have.I expect shipping time is a variable based on several things but mine arrived 13 days after purchase which is simply amazing for something coming from Taiwan and not produced until after the order is placed.
