I do blonde balayage so my hair is already grumpy and it’s wavy, so after a shower it’s brutal to brush my hair. I searched EWG to try and find something better and I came across this brand. It’s a conditioner type of consistency, as you would expect. I didn’t realize I was getting a specific scent, but the bottle says Grapefruit, the scent is a super mild citrus scent. I’m sensitive to smells but this is very pleasant and I don’t smell it all day long. I was actually able to get my brush through my hair and style it without it feeling greasy or heavy. I don’t need to use very much and I generally only use it on the bottom half of my hair, not my scalp. My only complaint is a plastic bottle. I’m trying to reduce my plastic waste since we know plastic recycling is a joke, and I haven’t found this brand at any of my refill stores. I hoping someday they’ll offer this product is a metal bottle at least so I feel a little less guilty. Or I’ll just find another brand that works and meets my sustainability goals.
