Unfortunately, it restricts the slide from moving as freely as it does with the stock plate so I took it off. I've emailed the seller about an exchange so well see how it goes. I'll update this review accordingly.1/6/15 Update: The seller immediately replaced my slide cover. I just didn't have a chance to install it until yesterday. Now, I'm happy! Looks great and functions as I might expect. I haven't fired the gun but I'm sure it will be fine.Most people understand that things go wrong as long as the vendor makes it right.
