## Description

An attractive and exotic, deciduous foliage plant, with large, shiny green leaves, which is best known for its showy clusters of waxy flowers produced over a long period which have a delicious and intense fragrance. Sometimes called 'Temple Trees', the Frangipani is grown throughout the tropics, and in Hawaii their long-lasting flowers are used in Leis. Height 1-3m (3-10ft), Flowers summer. Requirements: They like sunny conditions such as suit cacti and need a minimum winter temperature of 13C (55F). Planting instructions: Place 1 to 3 inches of gravel or stones on bottom for good drainage. Successful plumeria require good drainage. Use a media of equal parts of top soil and sand, or fine gravel. Place in open sunny area. Water until soaked and dry out before watering again. Give small amount of general fertilizer once a month.

Review: the cutting does have roots even though they're not super dense just yet - Shipping was fast and prompt. The cutting was well protected inside the box. It came in a tiny 4" pot filled with peat moss/perlite combo and covered with gravels on top. Upon checking the rooting system, the cutting does have roots even though they're not super dense just yet. I reckon it must be because they just passed their dormancy period. Can't wait to see it grow. I was stationed in Hawaii before. Plumeria trees were everywhere around my apartment, especially this color. Soon enough, it will feel like in Hawaii again. PS: Growing plumies is not as easy as you think. You have to treat it pretty much like you would with cactus. The less water and a little bit of abandonment in the mix work better than overcaring. I had two cuttings that I brought from Hawaii died on me. Fortunately, a great neighbor gave me two cuttings from her tree. They both grew like a charm after I knew the secrets of plumeria. 1. Bottom heat 2. Fast draining soil (perlites work best) 3. A lot of full direct sun 4. Sprinkle the soil with BR-61 fertilizer when the top inch of the soil is dry. Do not flood the pot until dense rooting system appeared and the cutting start to grow new leaves. 5. A good luck Mahalo for reading! And always, ALOHA!
Review: Low grade diseased plant - Quite disappointed with the plumeria. It came with leaves misshapen with bugs perhaps even a virus. I am grower of orchids for many years and I also got a cutting of Plumeria from Kauai, HI in March this year. That cutting flowered and has many robust leaves. I will not buy plants from this nursery any more. They should inspect their plants before they ship as I am afraid it may contaminate my other very valuable plants.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: How tall is it when seller ship it out ? Could some one please help me out before I order them . Thanks**
A: Ordered 3 colors in my shipment. They were at least 10 -12 in. White one has already bloomed & they are more than 2 ft. I have them in pots outdoors now bit will bring them in before frost. I'm very pleased with the plants. Hope this helps.

**Q: I have had my plant 2 weeks. It appears healthy. When should I expect to see leaves and/or repot it?**
A: If it doesn't have roots yet, be patient, it takes 6 to 8 weeks, then you will start to see leaves.
