It's an excellent way to teach them a little about nature, stir the imagination, and just have fun with the kids. My son's favorite page is the girl who imagines what it would be like to have the teeth of a shark. She has a huge smile with a mouth full of jagged sharp teeth (the effect is funny, not scary), and she's about to make a fortune putting teeth under her pillow for the Tooth Fairy (you know, because sharks are always losing their teeth, and there is always another tooth behind it, ready to move forward).
