I actually bought a full priced one for $79 from Apple to have an extra one at work in case I forget the charger, and eventually lost it. I found this charger and thought I would give it a try since the price is excellent. When I opened it I first noticed that, as you can see in my picture, it’s a little bigger. It also doesn’t separate into two pieces so the length of the court is only one length. But the length is the perfect size and I do appreciate the Velcro that lets you keep the MacBook chargers cord nice and tidy. I actually prefer this charger style to the oem charger because you don’t have to wind it up around the base of the charger as you do with the original MacBook charger which can damage the cord.So far I have not had any issues with it. It charges perfectly. Doesn’t get hot or anything. I am glad I didn’t have to spend another $79 to have an extra power adapter. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ One month and still going strong *by K***R on November 26, 2018* We bought this for my daughter after her puppy chewed through the last one. That was an apple replacement that cost $80.00 and the cord casing had split even before the dog got to it. I took a long time researching a non-apple replacement since I simply couldn't afford the $80.00 and my daughter HAD to have the laptop for college. Most of the others have shady reviews, complaints about running too hot, and one even has reviews for an entirely DIFFERENT product. The Tucker charger looked significantly more legit, and at half the price of Apple, it seemed worth taking the risk.We have been VERY happy with the charger. It arrived on time and in good condition. It works perfectly and does not get overly hot. My daughter uses it for several hours a day and lugs it to school and back daily. The casing remains strong, the charge is reliable and steady, the computer functions perfectly. Really, if you have to get a replacement and you don't want to spend the bucks on Apple - this is the way to go. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent replacement charger for MacBook Air *by G***S on March 30, 2018* Awesome replacement for the original charger at less than 1/2 the price. It works perfectly and doesn't get hot. The only down side is it's not compatible with the extension cord which I never use anyway.
