(so disappointed)** A: I would say that October was late to plant snowdrops in "the green". My guess is that they are still settling in and producing roots. It is possible that you will get late flowering this year, depending on site and local weather conditions there is still time for them flower, not all of my established bulbs have yet flowered. However, it is more likely they will flower next year. If you know exactly where you planted them, you could dig one up and check how the root growth is going. **Q: Can I plant these now? (October)** A: I have already planted mine. I understand the general rule of thumb is to plant bulbs 4 months before they're due to come out and bloom, giving them time to settle in. **Q: so.. "in the green" suggests early spring, so if I order now,, September, will they survive?** A: Well they are freshly lifted.
