These worked so much better as the length of the blade made cutting the middle boards easier and the metal/wood combo cutting teeth made starting the cuts much easier. With the metal only blades I had to pry the boards a little loose to fit the blade between. With these I just started cutting. I used one blade to cut apart 4 pallets that all had many extra nails throughout then just typical 2 or 3 nails per. I then used the same blade to cut through wood fence that had metal brackets on metal poles. These blades cut both the wood with ease and the brackets. Even cut a 1/4 in U bolt.
