I've found that it needs to charge overnight for about 6 hours so that the phone and the battery get fully charged. I also find that I never to switch batteries every once in a while (it comes with 2) because after a while the battery takes longer to charge. It must get tired and needs a rest. So there's some management involved. My one big complain is that when I drop it, the whole case falls apart from the phone offering absolutely no protection. I had the other iBattz model that does offer protection but I gave it to my son because it was too big and heavy for me. He didn't like it either and I have it seating in a drawer. I wish that there was a happy medium. ### ⭐⭐ Broke Twice *by E***M on Reviewed in the United States πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ on December 8, 2014* I haven't tried other battery packs to compare, but have had repeated issues with the mini-USB port breaking on this case. It's a great addition and allows me to go all day without charging my iphone 4S. It protects it well and makes it a bit heavier, which isn't that big of a deal for the trade off of not having to charge 4 times a day.It's nice looking that it comes with extra batteries, but to be honest, it's never lasted long enough to need them, so seems wasteful. More so, I would prefer they include extra USB inputs, bc this is the issue.Had my first one for a year before it started showing an inconsistent connection. The USB input came loose. I was just under warranty, so they reluctantly sent me a replacement. Had this one for 4 months and was especially careful when plugging in, but it bit the dust last night.Better priced than Mophi and at least they will (reluctantly) replace it if it breaks within a year, but don't expect to have this for much more time than that. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Does what its meant to do. *by R***S on Reviewed in the United States πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ on April 18, 2013* This case is idiot proof. There is a battery indicator that is very straight forward. The number of lights it has is how munch capacity it has left. ie. 3/4 lights means 75%.The case itself is raised a little bit off the screen to protect it when it is dropped. The case is made of a hard plastic, and fits the iphone 4s, and I assume 4, perfectly. It does not cover the camera at all. The package comes with 2 1700mAh batteries, which with a full charge will almost triple the phones battery life. It also has a quick charge function so that if you are in a hurry it will give a pretty good charge as well. The port used to charge the phone and battery is a micro usb port. to charge both the phone and one battery completely takes about 6 1/2 hours.I contacted customer service about the case, they answered my initial question and each response within 30 minutes of each other.
