It send an error code. Not returnable if you open ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good replacement for HP printers *by A***. on November 6, 2019* I bought these because of the price. They appear to work just fine and I haven't noticed any print problems at all. Your HP printer will recognize that these are not HP cartridges but my app still recognizes the ink levels. I cannot yet attest to the longevity of the cartridges as I only got them a couple of weeks ago, so, only time will tell.
