I bought my original set on eBay from a seller in China and they lasted much longer than expected. Since my original ones were from China, I figured any old strap would do the job. Boy was I wrong. The very first time I used these straps, I knew these were not the quality I was expecting. The strap itself had so much stretch to it, that I ended up pulling at least an extra foot or two when I cinched them down. After using them for just one month, the strap broke where the cam buckle bites into the strap. I will be looking for replacements yet again and this time, I will make sure to buy quality straps. These straps are JUNK! ### ⭐⭐ Poor quality but will get the job done *by L*** on Reviewed in the United States on July 3, 2020* We bought these to tie our bee hives to the hives base during bad weather. I am a kayaker and have lots of these type straps. These yellow ones are made of material that is very thin; I do not expect them to last long at all. The buckle is made of the cheapest metal and I anticipate they will rust quickly. That being said, they are getting the job done for now. Just not great quality but we don't always need top of the line materials, right? ### ⭐⭐⭐ Sunlight breaks the *by B***S on Reviewed in the United States on November 30, 2020* I use these to secure my 8' tall 10'x10' folding deck umbrella in windy conditions. These straps are the right length and they're fairly strong...until they aren't. What I mean is that exposure to sunlight breaks them down rather quickly. I got about two months of use before they began breaking during normal tightening. I'd say they lost 90% of their strength being in the sun for 2 months. But they're cheap enough that I just bought a new pair and now I rotate them more frequently.
