It’s perfect for low-cost repairs and new construction parts. Our polyester resin is great on vertical surfaces and also works great for fast glass wet out because of its low viscosity. This resin must be accelerated with Cobalt additive and catalyzed with MEKP (Methyl Ethyl Ketone Peroxide) to properly cure. Our polyester resin is great for a wide variety of applications including, hand layup by brush or roller, spray on applications, marine, transportation, auto body, aerospace, general purpose laminating, FRP parts and more. This resin is compatible with all types of fiberglass and core materials. Because this resin contains a styrene monomer it is not compatible with polystyrene foam. Kit contains: 1kg polyester resin, 39in x 50in fiberglass 300gsm Chopped strand mat, 50ml accelerator, 50 ml catalyst, 2x1" brushes, 2 large mixing cups, 2 mixing sticks and 2 pairs of nitrile gloves, 3 sandpapers (1 each of 80grit, 150 grit, 220 grit).
