I was looking for an alternative to having her anal glands expressed at the vets office as it seems very painful/traumatic for her and I've heard that this can really hurt her over time. I had changed her diet to include more whole foods like chicken, greens and pumpkin but it didn't seem to make a big difference. I started using scoop stopper and within 3 days her anal glands were reduced in size. I no longer need to use this daily and instead make sure to give it 3 times per week. This has seemed to keep her problems at bay and I just hope it keeps working long term! To administer, I mix the drops with a tiny amount of purified water and squirt directly into her mouth with a 1cc syringe.
