First off we have 't used one before since the ubiquitous Fitbit brand seems so expensive but that was many years ago. Since then the price have come down dramatically and still has the same features. So we picked this due to the numerous features but especially the heartbeat monitor since my wife wanted to monitor this specifically. Let me tell you it's pretty accurate since we compared it to our blood pressure machine and they were only different by 1-2 bpm. The other features are also on point and very useful to know. The best part is that it's so easy to charge by just simply pulling one of the strap off and the USB connector is right there! How cool was that! Now my daughter is fighting with my wife to use it during the day.
