It installed fairly quickly but I think it’s a 2-person job. Not sure I could have done it alone. It’s just a great way to convert a recessed light without an electrician. I do wish there were more options for style of light. I also agree with some of the other reviews about getting the cover to lie flush with the ceiling: try as we might, we never did get it 100%. It looks good enough for our laundry room but I probably wouldn’t recommend it for anywhere formal.
