Especially with a upcoming trip involving crowds my husband and I will be able to contain him but outsmart him as well. This design is above all the rest! The snap or clasp or closing is in the back right where it belongs. The straps are cotton so they are soft and there are nice little pads for under the arms so it doesn't irritate. It's very well made too. I've had bad luck with the other designs...I've tried the backpack leash-he just unhooks it and it's off. I've tried the wrist leash-he just tood it off completely at age 2!. Maybe he's just too curious and smart, but this design is great! And affordable! So needless to say I'm keeping my fingers crossed that this will be the answer to my toddler leash problem! It has a nice leash handle thing that's about 2 feet long in the back that I could just grab in an emergency. It also comes with the full leash that can be hooked to the back.
