They slip on much easier than Yak Tracks; the rubber straps are stretchier and don't get stiff. No cumbersome adjusting of buckles and straps, just slip on and go,knowing that they are securely attached to your shoes or boots - they come in several sizes to accommodate any type of footwear.The studs are small but effective and don't cause foot fatigue like some styles with longer spikes. Since the studs cover the entire bottom instead of just being on the front like most others, heel slip is eliminated. I bought these last year but we had a mild winter and I only used them once - this winter is a lot different and they have been my constant companions. Best choice on hard, packed snow and ice, fine for dry snow too.
