I searched all around town and could find no tree topper of any kind that was silver so I decided to look on Amazon. I can always depend on Amazon for items I can't find anywhere else. I spotted this tree topper and it was a good price so I ordered it. It arrived shortly and was just the right touch to finish the tree. It is shatterproof which is what I wanted. I used all shatterproof ornaments so there would be no chance of my very active granddaughter breaking something and getting hurt. The tree topper is well made and doesn't really look like plastic. It looks very nice on top of the tree. My friends had to cut a tip of the tree down a little but it looked very nice at the end.Unfortunately silver topper came not in a box but just in an envelope - totally inappropriate packaging for a fragile item and it was jammed in my mailbox.
