I just looked at the picture and judged it's thickness from that, unaware that the duvet was over something thicker.So I received this, and it's much thinner than I was expecting. Which is a good and bad thing.It's a bad thing because I thought I was getting a comforter, and it's a good thing because all I need to do is put this cover over some filling or a thicker blanket.I won't send it back, and I'm not unhappy with my purchase because the design is beautiful and it matches very well with my blue room.So now I just have to find and buy some type of filling for this before I can use it.If you know that this is NOT a thick comforter, but actually a thin duvet cover, you will not be disappointed at all. I covered a white comforter with this cover. Very easy to put on, zips easily. Very pretty print with gold trim, comfortable fabric. I love that it came with matching pillow shams. Only problem is that it isn't the same shade of blue you see in the pictures, it's more of a teal blue.
