This man is at an easy advantage to sell this book, because he is a black man telling primarily black women how to get a man and keep a man. This book provides the basics: encourage your man, be a good cook, have a good attitude, have a nice body, don't get an attitude, give him good sex, and forgive him and let stuff go!He does not define feminine energy and what it truly means to nurture. We need a man to mentally and emotionally write a book to move us to a place to want to do this. If you have been severely wronged or taken for granted this book is going to a dusty shelf or the Goodwill box.What this man does not tell women is how amazing we are and how important our jobs are as spouses, parents, and co-leaders in the household. He only wants you to be motivated enough to keep a man satisfied, which is sad bc it allows the reader to see how selfish this author is.To me this book screams-Survival Mentality! Most of us are already surviving, but how do we thrive? This book focuses on how to manipulate a man. He references strippers in the club talking good game to get extra cash. How Delilah from the Bible was slick enough to play Sampson, because she could spit good game. So are we talking game? Or are we talking about nurturing love and being able to hold our men to a standard of accountability that he will welcome instead of running to the path of least resistance?This book is a one- size fits all approach for a very basic everyday man. The book does not provide support or encouragement to the women looking to honestly enrich their relationships. The book provides no interesting perspectives, rare insights, or statics.
