The tray is of good quality with lots of fun shapes for resin. I used it with Easy Cast resin and without prepping it with a resin release. I washed and dried the tray first then let the resin sit for about 24 hours covered to prevent dust. The pieces popped out of the mold easily and looked great!

I love this because it really gives you a professional facial for a fraction of the cost to go to a spa. It smooths my skin and gets rid of unwanted oils in pores and blackheads. It is also very therapeutic and relaxing when its on face! All I use is one tbsp of powder per use to fill my face! I can tell this 1 lb tub will probably last me months!

I felt compelled to write this after the existing reviews made me hesitate buying it. I'm glad I did.Used this mold with the  Environmental Technology 8-Ounce Kit Casting' Craft Casting Epoxy, Clear .On a tip from another review, before the first pour I cleaned this with soap and lightly rubbed it with an oil (camellia because it was on hand but olive oil or others could have worked) then wiped off with a paper towel. Without a releasing agent, and after 24 hours I tried to press the charms (plastic jewels?) out, but started to worry I'd bend the plastic. Placed it in the freezer for 5-10 minutes and tried again and they all came out easily.The second and third pours I completely forgot about cleaning or oiling before but still had the same results.I didn't expect any of the molds to come out shiny as glass. Whether cleaning up smudges or just wanting to show craftsmanship in my final product, I had planned to use my buffing compound to polish after fully cured. And that worked great! But that said, they were fairly smooth even without any polishing.With the current price under $5 this is a good choice for beginners or those making a Christmas present.

Learning to used these I read reviews and got tips on how to use these. They are nice shapes but it takes some muscle to get the molds out and I got a very good tip to freeze them once they'd set and then take them out so they don't come out tack which worked for me. I try to lea a thin bit of resen on the mold as well to be able to pick them. I'd feel if these were slightly more pliable and stronger I'd give a 5 but I feel I may need to re order or repair after a couple uses. Cleanup can be a bit of a chore as well but that is the resin's nature not this product which I will likely get again if I can.

I got this mold because I am a beginner at making resin jewelry. When making the molds, I didnt use mold release and thought I ruined my molds, but I googled the problem, it said to stick the mold in the freezer for 5 minutes, and it popped right out! Some of the shapes are pretty small so you cant put in any embellishments, but I felt as if it was a good mold for its price to try out the resin.

DON'T WASTE MONEY ON THESE MOLDS. MY RESIN PIECES WERE VERY DIFFICULT TO REMOVE, UNEVEN AND DULL!! BASICALLY, I COULD NOT RESALE/USE THE ORGONE PENDANTS I CREATED. RESIN IS EXPENSIVE. INVEST IN QUALITY SILICONE, IT WILL SAVE YOU MONEY AND FRUSTRATION IN THE END. I MADE LOVELY PIECES WITH REAL GEMSTONES THAT I LOST BECAUSE THESE MOLDS ARE SO HORRIBLE. SOME OIECRS I WAS ABLE TO SALVAGE BY SANDING AND REGLAZING. IT CREATED A LOT OF EXTRA WORK/TIME. SEE MY PICTURE. FROM THESE MOLDS,ONE GLAZED, THE DULL ONE RIGHT OUT IF THE MOLD.

When I discovered the fun of resin casting I was looking for a mold for jewelry. This is one of the only ones on the market. Some of the shapes were great and really suited my purpose. The big ovals, big rectangles, little ovals, hearts and long rectangles are all good. Look great and give good results. Some suck and don't look great. The drops and octagon for example. I ended up cutting out the shapes I used and tossing the others. They also wear out fast. I already need a new mold after about 15 castings. I guess that's why they're so cheap?It is a good starter mold though to get the hang of what you like and experiment. You don't need a release agent with them, but you do need to let dry for 2 days for easy release.

I love using this for casting resin pieces. It's very easy to remove and I always get a flawless finish when the epoxy is cured. The material seems very sturdy and this will last me for many years to come.I have tried candy molds from Michael's and those are a good ole pain in the keister.
