We hired someone to put them up since I don't know how to use a level or a tape measure or a stud finder, but installation seemed easy enough.The only reason I'm not giving these the full five stars is because about half of the ten shelves had some sort of cosmetic issue—scratches, smudges, weird globs of paint. It is easy to install. It has some weight to it. Our DVDs and Blu-Rays fit nicely into them. The reason we bought these is we couldn't find any other floating shelves that fit DVDs, with sides on each side, except this. The shelves were shipped to our home very fast.
