While I still adjusted some things, Journey with Jesus has a lot of fantastic elements and fun activities. I highly recommend it. Didn't use the music CD though.... ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Wonderful!! *by S***N on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on September 25, 2009* This worked wondefully for our small church. We have two children's sunday school classes that used it. The lessons can be very simple for the 3-5 year olds, simple to plan and simple for the kids to engage with. Our other sunday school group age is between 6 and 12 years old, and this curriculum worked well for this large age spread. This curriculum is insightful into the life of Jesus and the history of the places he visited. I even learned a lot as the teacher. The lessons are not overly difficult, but they are not "watered down" either. The craft ideas were fun as well as the games, and applicable to the lesson. There is an emphasis on scripture memory as well. We didn't use the music, but I think the kids would have enjoyed it as well. The only reason I gave this curriculum 4 stars instead of 5 is because I like to use colorful illustrations in my lessons. So, I had to come up with that on my own. Another thing I did that worked well with this curriculum was to create "passports" for each child with their picture and the names of each place we would visit through out the "Journey with Jesus". They then could receive stamps in their passports for attendance, memorization, bringing a friend, and completing homework. To receive a prize at the end of the 12 weeks they had to earn a certain amount of stamps (i.e. 18 stamps). A good time to run this lesson is between Christmas and Easter. This curriculum explains very well how to use it and gives you everything you would need for posters and letters.
