I really wanted this gun to be "the one." Sadly, it's not.I've used it about a dozen times now, and I've found myself repeatedly being happy with it one moment and cursing it the next. More cursing it, honestly. Seems every time I'm on a ladder or reaching at full extension, when I need it to just work, it fails me. Meaning, almost no pressure. Squeezing the trigger/handle over and over and getting nothing. Other times i get good pressure.Either way, there's almost always some drip, regardless of the viscosity. I honestly thought it I was crazy for using my trusty $4 caulk gun all these years, so I decided to upgrade. Now I reach for the old cheapo more than this thing.I'd say I wish the pressure could be adjusted, but I know that wouldn't fix it. It's way too sporadic - very little pressure to too much pressure in the same tube, this happened on 6 tubes of the same product one after the other. Very frustrating.

I have used multiple caulk guns and this by far is the best. it is metal which is a little bit heavier than the plastic one but it is dripless the "i3000" is not dripless like it says it is . If you use it everyday and want a great caulk gun that is dripless this is the one ! Out of the 5 I own I pick and use this one daily .

This is a $31 caulking gun that drips considerable amounts of caulking regardless of the Drip On/Off setting. Why would the Dripless company put their name on a product that performs no better than a $5 caulking gun that works just as well. Not impressed. I gave it two stars only because it does work like a caulking gun, just a $5 one.

I wish I had found about this product years ago. Don’t hesitate, buy one. I would give it 6 stars if I could.

This caulking gun is really dripless and worked well for the Momentive GE 7000 Silicone II Paintable Silicone, white.To my supprise, the rotating barrel totally unscrewed from the base when I was trying to take out the caulking tube. What did I do wrong? I am an old lady. Maybe the barrel must be turned only in one direction when applying the caulk. It took 2 people to put the spring and all the other parts to fit properly, in order to screw the barrel back in to the base.

The best I have ever used (and I have a dozen). Like the no drip feature and the grip assist.
