That thing weighted all of 83grams (LOL)... super light and didn't give a good tamp. This beautiful work of craftsmanship is on the "cheaper side", but it is far from being cheaply made. It weights 383 grams and it feels as though the wood is where it carries MAJORITY of the weight. The (bottom) metal part has some weight to it as well.. but you can certainly just lay it on your grinds and give a spin or two and you're good to go!
