And most men do not know how to safely navigate these tests. Knowing how, assuming a basic level of physical attractiveness, is the basis of game.Roosh lays out the potential tests you will encounter, the factors that can seriously impeded you (logistics, friends, etc..), and the mental attitude needed to get laid.Nature-wise, 60% of men have historically not reproduced. By looking at our DNA, we can ascertain that about 8000 years ago less than 1 in 17 men reproduced over a short time. In other words, getting laid is quite difficult, and Roosh treats it like the serious business it is.The obesity epidemic in the USA has essentially destroyed 60-80% of attractive young women thereby leaving the few remaining morsels with even more options. Social media has made the gap between those men who are sexually attractive to those who aren't even more yawning; I would guess that at least 60% of the males I know--many who are quite attractive with good to excellent jobs--don't have a steady girl, and most of the ones that do have older fat women.This book will help you get laid. Certainly it improved my chances, enough so that I lost count of the number of women I bedded and their names. Most were mediocre, 1 or 2 were quite pretty, all were thin. So, yes, the book works but I already had a pretty strong foundation to go with it (white, black hair, very athletic, sadistic, introspective, a couple of dangerous hobbies, a glib and cutting tongue, arrogant but with low-self confidence), but I do not think this is a good thing for our society to be headed towards.If I could summarize this book, my guess is it would be, "pretend you're not a nice guy, and pretend you have plenty of options". This works. My concern is what kind of society are we that we do not respect nice guys? Indeed, nice guys, and guys who get married, are now part of a society that demonizes them at every turn, in movies, ads, and especially the courts.We cannot easily change the world around us; accept this is the world that we must live in, and buy this book with the understanding that every year it will get harder and harder to bed women. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very Good Read *by D***K on September 24, 2012* Bang- the title says it all. Roosh takes you on a journey, not just to help you get laid (which it can) but also to discover another side of yourself- a more confident, self-assured side. That side that was a part of you all along, it just needed a good push to bring it out. And Bang provides that push. Listen, one can read all the books one can find about picking up women, about getting laid, about "game"; but until you put yourself out there, and apply what you have learned, all you have done is read a book. Roosh walks the walk, and his real life experiences will sometimes make you laugh, sometimes make you cringe, but they will also make you think. Bang- a colloquial for having sex, but also a term to describe how this book will open your mind. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Practical guide, intuitive *by M***N on June 26, 2012* In his book, Bang, Roosh uses words to aid and encourage men toward pursuing women they are attracted to. His style of writing is conversational. He provides specific lines that one may copypasta into their own interactions. He also provides generally insightful information about male-female relations. And together, Roosh gives the reader a strong rudder they can use to guide their behavior to avoid the usual awkward, joyless interaction and toward cultivating attraction.I am giving this book five stars because it is the superior pickup guide. In JJJ1985's review he is confused by the high amount of 5-star ratings. I can't be sure why he picked up Bang in the first place but his expectations for the book were probably more for personal entertainment rather than to learn about how to meet and attract women. I find this book to be very entertaining as well as knowledge-laden.
