Review: Way too sweet, though I do have a fix... - It is extremely sweet for my tastes so when I make my hurricanes with it, I pour my rum, add seltzer water / club soda to cut the sweetness down, and top with the hurricane mixer. I personally like the effervescent character it lends to the cocktail. It makes for a dangerous drink in that you don't even taste the rum in it. They go down all too well! It is flavorful, in that you can taste the fruit flavors in it over the sweet. That it's not made with hf corn syrup is a plus. A little pricey, but considering how I use it, I can get quite a few cocktails out of a bottle.
