## Description

Our easy to fit duct kits are made up of our most popular items supplied in one cost effective pack. They can be used for any type of ventilation air extract system as the grille and duct are standard sizes. We include a generous 3 meter length of duct that should be ample for most installations that can be easily cut to size with general purpose plyers. All of our grilles have removable covers/flaps for easy cleaning. Things to consider when choosing a kit: All major brand cooker hood, tumble drier, extractor fan flanges have a small end that allows ducting hose fir over. Our kits will fit all of them. The exact size of our duct is 102mm, 127mm or 152mm diameter so please take this into consideration when choosing a hole saw. We recommend that you use following minimum diameter hole saw per kit: 100mm kit – 125mm hole saw 125mm kit – 152mm hole saw 150mm kit – 173mm hole saw

Review: Perfect.... - Did the job, easy to fit. I did have to purchase a longer hose but all in all really pleased.
Review: Good value basic extraction kit. - I used this kit to install a 150mm extract duct from a replacement kitchen hood to outside. It was useful to have the two jubilee clips to fasten the ducting on either end. There is plenty of ducting, though I didn't cut it down to size before installing. Perhaps on another occasion I would do this, as I suppose that the more corrugated surface area the more resistance, or noise, is produced. The outlet vent itself is quite thin plastic, though satisfactory. The vent flap is very flimsy, does easily flap in the wind, even with the outside cowl in place. The two hinges seem ready to break, and are hardly long enough, but so far are doing the job. There are a few good suggestions in the reviews to overcome the flapping issue. I used a couple of sticky felt pads, which worked. I thought use of mini magnets is a brilliant idea, and will do this when the pads inevitably fall off. The cowl and flap can be easily removed with the wall plate in place, so it is easy to experiment. I would recommend this installation kit, but be prepared to sort out the flapping flap!

## Questions & Answers

**Q: How do you remove the front to get to the screw holes ?**
A: You press one of the sides of the cowl towards the body of the cowl, which when pressed far enough should release two pins that fit into holes on the frame. Then by removing that side away from the frame towards you the other sides two pins should then slot out. Be careful the pins are insubstantial and can be broken off if you exert too much force when pulling the cowl away from the frame towards you and the pins have not come out of their holes. It is very easy to see the two pins on each side so the process is a very easy, low risk one.

**Q: Does the gril has fly net**
A: No, but the flap closes when the fan is not running. When it is running, anything trying to get in will be .. blown back out .  .

**Q: Does it have flaps**
A: Yes it does. One large flap that opens when the hood is switched on.

**Q: Can you confirm the external diameter of the 150 mm duct - I cannot find a core drill bigger than 152mm anywhere**
A: 150mm is sufficient i used hammer and chisel to squeeze duct in position
