I mounted 2 27in on it and I have around 5cm between the bottom screen and the desk and about the same for the top screen vesa mount and the end of the pole. The other concern will be the weight. It was easier with 2 of us to ensure position of monitors was precise. Ensure it is screwed to a solid desk. My sons is an IKEA desktop that is honeycomb hollow type we have reinforced where the bracket is screwed to because his previous bracket crushed the desk.
