I am using a peat pot and will prepare their eventual planting area with the same soil used for them now. It will be interesting to see how they do outside in a couple of seasons.Yes all of the pips are sprouting, at variable rates. I expect that and am okay with it. The disappointment is that these are white. They are not the pink variety advertised. I could have purchased these at my local garden shop. I ordered from this company specifically for the color.
