Comes with tough weather resistant cover. It's lightweight but not flimsy but don't hang anything heavy from it. The bracket is really solid.You can move it to provide shade along the wall each side or out in a diamond shape. I'm pretty handy so I knew how to mark out the holes but a template for the holes would have been helpful.
