In bright sun it's difficult to see, as you would expect. The laser turns on easily with your normal grip. Functions perfectly and i would recommend it.I have an extended slide release which prevents installation of the grips. I decided I would file down the top of the grip to make it fit. I just used some coarse sandpaper and it filed down very easy in about 5 mins. I was very weary about doing this, but wanted to keep my slide release, so I gave it a shot. Not only was it easy to do, it looks very clean and you can't tell it's been altered. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Never made a better decision. Just make sure you call crimson trace to make sure you order the right grip for your gun.
