Because of the texture and color and thickness of the fabric, you can't even see the seams. The fabric is sticky but there were a few times when I accidentally stuck it to itself and was still able to peel it apart and use it on the picture mat. It retains its stickiness if you need to remove it and try again. Highly recommend.
