Tips: When this candle is lit for the first time, allow it to only burn for 2 or 3 hours. After cooling, you allow it to burn for another 3 hours and then extinguish the flame and allow it to cool. I would recommend for future purchasers to follow directions and burn the candle previously to its use. I found myself carving out a little wax around one of the wicks when I first lit it, since there was a puddle of wax that would 'drown' the candle wick and turn the flame off. After doing this a couple of times it was much more easier to light and for it to stay lit.Now both candles are on display and burning beautifully. It did not fit the pagoda lamp style holder I intended it for .... my mistake. As a stand alone in a cluster of smaller candles it is absolutely gorgeous. Follow instructions for gradually going to longer burning times and your "well" will be perfect.
