I would suggest to take the plunge and go one size down as this is definitely more a14-16. Would really recommend this dress for any occasion really, can be dressed up or down and the colours are really bright (red with black and white spots). I am size 22, but as I have very good opinion about my body I took size 18-20 lol and it fits! actually pretty well. material is stretchy and no way it looks too small. very nicely made, no hanging threads, stitched beautifully. I am 5.9'' and the length is rather good it covers my knees which is great. Absolutely in love with this dress! finally got something decent to wear at Christmas parties!
