So every permaculture book has something I need or something I should remember. This book is no exception, in fact this book should be a close second to the Mollison Designers Manual. It provides sound permaculture steps in a clear easy to read format with a lot of knowledge crammed into one book. It's heavy, like a Designers Manual, so it will not be carried with you everywhere you go. There is also too much information to memorize, so it will become a great reference tool. Possibly better than the Designers Manual as it is more focused on the temperate climate when the Designers Manual covers all climates.I had never seen the contents of the book before purchasing it, but I thought I would take a chance as it was referenced in the Aranya book contents and also on several website that I trust. While building my reference library, I have a limited amount of money like everyone else, so I plan my purchases carefully. This book has become a great find, with very few copies available in good condition at a reasonable price, I am extremely happy to obtain this one.
