## Questions & Answers

**Q: I have an iphone & android & would like the option to use these headphones with both. if i buy the i20 version, can i still listen to music on both?**
A: Yes you can listen to both but the controls for Android and iOS devices are different so some functions will work on Android and others will not. I bought mine without the in-line control feature.

**Q: Dear amazon~~ does t20i (gen. 2) for apple version headphone black? or is t20 (gen. 2) black? thank you for your reply.**
A: Get the t20(i) for the headphone controller.

**Q: so if i have these cranked and im in the back seat are my parents going to be able to here my music because i want something that is silent outside**
A: No one will hear anything except you with these headphones properly positioned in your ears

**Q: What is the difference between the Gen 2 and the regular, beside $14 and being prime?**
A: Sorry, I really have no idea what you mean by Gen 2 and the "regular".

Simply the best sound and build quality

First amazon review here, so obligatory life story thrown into the mix. I listen to music between 5-10 hours a day and was looking for superb sound quality for the office (Spotify on PC) and commute (Spotify on S9+) after destroying my Samsung IG955 AKGs which I always thought were pretty good.My brother is a classical music analyst and said "No question, get the RHA T20s". Of course I didn't listen thinking that, as the older brother, I could do better. I was concerned about the durabliity of RHA cables which get a very bad rep and brother had destroyed his twice in 3 years. Although RHA's 3 year warranty replaced his, this was a concern for me.So I ordered a pair of Bose QC35 II, which I'd kinda always wanted. Burn in debates aside, I was impressed by the noise cancelling but shocked by the lack of depth, instrument separation and clarity which I expected to be significantly better than my AKGs. They just weren't. Really disappointing at £250. Not convinced that headphones fit my lifestyle either...So I did tons of research into wired earphones and was tied between iBasso IT01 and Shure SE215, supposedly excellent entry level IEMs at £100. I bought the SE215s. They were totally lacking treble at first. After continuous playing for a few days that improved but the mids are washed out by the "amazing bass", which I found to be lacking both punch and depth. They are muddy. So I finally ordered the RHAs... I played Unfinished Symphany and then Long After You're Gone through the SE215s, swapped them out for the RHAs, took a deep breath and pressed play on Unfinished Symphany. Well... wow. I was just blown away... tears in my eyes and then a proper fit of giggles. Without question they are in a totally different league to Bose and Shure. To my ears, the way they play Long After You're Gone is perfection. In Triangle Walks the whips/cracks feel like firecrackers going off next to me on the desk.Good points:The clarity of treble, mids and bass far exceeds QC35 and SE215.Ditto for the bass power the punchyness.Ditto for the separation - you actually hear instruments placed around you. With foam tips from the box they on a par or better than the Shures for passive noise cancellation. (Shure come with these as standard and they get touted about as being great noise cancellers)The cables are a different build/material to the older T20's and they seem far more sturdy. The microphone and controls are exceptionally well built and feel great.Cable is long so they're ideal for computer listening.Bad points:While the microphone and pause/play/next works on my Samsung, there's no volume control option for Androids yet.So, bro was right. No question, get the RHA T20/T20i

    Big let down

*by N***Y on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 13 December 2018*

I really really wanted to like these headphones ..My previous pair was the Fender CXA1 and they were absolutely great - might have scored lower than other earphones but the comfort and quality for the price was a great bargain. After extensive research, i decided to go with the T20i ..Pros- BuiltThe metallic finish and the connection jacks are simply fantastic. Very sturdy and if looked after they will last for a long time. Some people mentioned that the earhooks break down eventually but for the moment i do not see any signs of that yet (bought a few days ago).-SoundThe sound is very clear, so if you like it flat then you will love these.Conns- ComfortThe earphones do not sit inside my ear canal and they kept popping out of my ears. I had to change multiple tips in order to find something that kinda fit.Other brands are a lot more comfortable on that front (my previous Fenders for example) and they are able to cover the whole ear canal very easily which leads to an immersive experience.Due to their metallic construction as well, they are heavy.-Sound / BassI was very much disappointed with the bass levels. Even with the bass filters on and equalizer set to boost bass, the sound is really flat. I listen to a lot of bass heavy music, and i was very disappointed by a pair of 150 pounds.-VolumeI have to blast it up to red levels on my iPhone to get it loud enough .. Either im going deaf or they are best to be used with desktop.I am currently looking into other earphones of the same calibre, as I am planning on returning these ones for a refund. What a shame ..

    Fantastic sound quality

*by T***Y on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 22 September 2019*

I love my headphones and have owned many different types. Bluetooth, IEM, over ear, open back, closed back etc..I have also tried a lot of different IEM models, like these, in search of a 'neutral' sound combined with the ease of portability to use at work, while travelling on public transport, walking around etc.The reference tuners fitted by standard on these are very close to a neutral sound. They don't have bluetooth and yes, the cable is a pain if you are used to Bluetooth, but they are in a different league to most of the other IEM's that I have owned, including Shure, and the sound is close to neutral and comparable to much higher priced over ear headphones - it's not the same experience but the sound quality is very good for an IEM.The engineering is fantastic and the machined steel finish is premium.Headphones are very personal but if you are looking for a neutral sound and a sound quality that is more like an over ear than an in-ear, these are great. They won't replace my Sennheiser HD600's and Oppo HA2-SE DAC combo anytime soon but I can't take those on the bus or tube or use them at work, so these are perfect for listening to Amazon Music HD or Spotify Premium. I'll stick with my Bluetooth Koohoo E2's for the gym and use these for everything else. Great job RHA... Thanks!
